Who Should Take This?: 

Who Should Take This? :  Students who are interested in applying to selective colleges or universities and want a deep dive into the process. More time will be available to answer student-specific questions and work on a one-to-one level.  More time is taken to explain advanced topics, such as approaches to supplemental essays, whether Early Decision is the right move, etc.  Students should leave this workshop with all sections of the Common Application completed plus a working rough draft or outline of their common app essay.

 

Cost: $300.00

 

 

Topics Covered:

• More detailed discussion about your college list, such as ensuring a balance between Reach, Match, and Safety Schools.
• Organizing the Process.
• Step-by-Step Walkthrough of the Common App.
• Explanation of other applications, as requested by the group.
• Detailed Essay explanation and brainstorming exercises.
• Opportunity for students to submit drafts of their essay during the week.
• One, optional, evening group Q & A over Zoom
• A final report sent to student and parent of the student’s progress at week’s end.

 

Please note: Only rising Seniors (class of 2025) should register for this workshop.

If paying in-person, please bring cash or check to Mr. Esgro in Room 210. If paying by check, please make checks out to Archbishop Molloy High School. Students will then be provided with a receipt. All in-person payments must be received by June 1st.
